The Honorable David Dreier

David Dreier is founder and chairman of the Fallen Journalists Memorial Foundation and is immediate past chairman of the Tribune Publishing Company. He leads the Annenberg-Dreier Commission at Sunnylands, which has focused on the role of technology in enhancing prosperity, good governance, and cross-cultural linkages throughout the greater Pacific region. He is founder of the Dreier Roundtable at Claremont McKenna College, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a distinguished fellow at the Brookings Institution. Dreier is an entrepreneur, an award-winning filmmaker, and one of California's leading advocates for innovative research and STEM education. Throughout his more than three decades in the United States Congress, he played a key role in shaping policies that are at the heart of America's competitiveness. He has been a champion of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, ensuring it has the resources necessary to conduct the groundbreaking work for which it is world renowned. As a staunch believer that future competitiveness demands an educated and innovative workforce, Dreier has long supported education and immigration reforms that will empower a new generation of creative thinkers and ensure that the doors of America's universities and cutting-edge companies are always open to the world's best and brightest.
