Lynn Booth is president of The Otis Booth Foundation and the Evening Star Foundation, which support philanthropic causes primarily throughout Southern California. Booth is actively involved in a variety of civic and community organizations. She is a board member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and The Colleagues, a support group for the Children's Institute. She also serves on the boards of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and the Blue Ribbon, which is a support group for the Los Angeles Music Center. She is a trustee emeritus of Chapman University and also serves on the Board of Trustees of the California Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Getty Conservation Institute council and the council advisory board of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles.
